We are going to carrefour (as usual), and....since we don't have a nanny, i just go with Jeslyn, no one else......make me a little bit tired, but..it's ok....Jeslyn is more independent without a nanny

We are going in the book section, and Jeslyn ask to buy a book.....i m happy she likes reading a book, i bought some books since she was very young, since she didnt understand at all, most of the books look so bad already, i still must to remind her to take care of her book properly...well, she is still too young to really understand it, but....we must teach her the right way, right ?

Arrived home, she is not patient enough to wait for me to read the book..!! She ask me...and ask me...and ask me.....and....i must say, wait a moment Jeslyn....be patient......and.....finally she got what she wants.....i read the book for her......'Spot's first walk...by Eric Hill.....' bla bla bla....

Fireworks

My little girl had some fireworks long time ago, but she doesn't use yet...
Suddenly she ask to play fireworks....So....i prepare a candle to turn the fireworks on.....she put the fireworks on the candle by herself, she is not afraid...and.......shaky shaky shaky, she is so happy, she ask to play for 4 times.......

Washing washing

I m doing something in the kitchen, and my little girl ask me to help to wash her milk bottle
She start taking her small chair (so she is tall enough to reach the soap), and....take the long bottle brush......and.....put the liquid soap in the bottle.....and...brush...brush...brush....she really does the right way.....All i need just check it, and...it's clean....!!! AMAZING...

I got my visa on my passport today.....My husband did it.....:):)

I arrived home, and take a look on it.....just a piece of paper....but mean a lot....!

New but Old 'Mbak' (Maid) (4)

Sila, my ex-maid ask to work with me again, since her kids came back to their village, her working is good enough, clean, tidy, and you don't need to tell her in very detail....hope she really can work without any disturbance this time.....better i have lots of work than i must change my maid all the time....!!!

Another story about the Maid

I came back home a little bit late tonite since i just came back from factory in Sukabumi i m re-filling a water in the bottle in the kitchen and i saw there is a piece of plastic that i know it is a part of cooking oil package
I check in the cupboard, and i found i missed one of 2 liters cooking oil pouch, and i found again there is one package of sugar is missing
There is only me, my husband, Jeslyn, and my maid who come and go everyday (not stay with us), she just work for 3 days
I dont want to make a mistake, suspect on a wrong person, coz i dont check my cupboard everyday, but, there is a strong proof...so...i dont have another choice except fired her, it's too bad.....
If you rely on someone, but you find out that she has a bad attitude, even a small one, you can't rely on her at all anymore, you are talking about your daughter life that you ask someone to take care of her during you go to work, am i right ?

My Work Life (10)

Today we are going to ice cream factory, to collect information how they are doing the business related to administration task
It's a very clean company i ve ever came, they ask to change our shoes to theirs
Every area look so so so clean....! And they are very welcome to us (they know we will change their computer system to the one that we offered)
The last but not the least, they provide some ice cream for us...:) Jeslyn and her daddy should come here, not me.....hahahaha...

Granted !

The embassy sent me a wonderful email this morning....!
I was granted the visa since May 18, 2008, and it's really Permanent Residence straight away, Usually i need to wait for 2 years before I get a permanent one.
It's really a fast process, only 8 weeks ! Without any interview, I delayed for 19 days to do medical check up, and 24 days to complete another document that they asked for, and the longest time is waiting for the medical check up get approval by the government (around 4 weeks)
AMAZING......

New 'Mbak' (Maid) (3)

I got a new 'Mbak' from my Aqua delivery man, her name is Sami....closed enough to my short name...hahahaha...
I hope i don't need to find another one....another one....another one.....

Aunty Bebeb birthday

Today is aunty Bebeb birthday, she invites us to have lunch together
Today also, my maid ask to quit because her kids come to stay with her...Oh...not again...!

I m going to pick aunty Dede and her sons up, it's a long way (about 20 km) for Jeslyn, since she is so sensitive in the car.....on a half way, she ask to vomit....lucky i can find a place to park the car

Arrived at Aunty Dede's house, we stay for a while, and Jeslyn play around

We start going to the restaurant to have lunch, a little bit traffic jamed, and once again, Jeslyn vomit....but after that she is ok....

Happy birthday aunty Bebeb....we have lunch together, Jeslyn ask noodle with meat ball only, she eats by herself
Finish getting lunch, we come back to Aunty Dede house again, Aunty Bebeb wants to cut her cake....along the way Jeslyn is ok.....AMAZING.....

Aunty Bebeb and Jeslyn are cutting the 'birthday cake' We call it 'Kue Lapis Surabaya', Jeslyn eat the cake straight away, a big one....

At 4 pm, I asked Jeslyn to go home, but she doesnt want to, she said she still want to play with aunty....
Around 5 pm, she still doesnt want to go home, I asked her to take a walk, but she is crying and confirm to me that 'we will come back to aunty's house after take a walk, mommy ?' I can't lie to her, it's not good, before I think she will change her mind and will agree to go home, but I dont know why, today she is so different, a little bit strange, she still doesnt wanna go home
Finally I asked her to take a shower, and after that we go home....and.....she agreed !!! OMG, it's so easy actually, just take her shower, and she doentmind to go home straight away....Why dont you tell me before Jeslyn ? You know, I m sad if you are crying...

At 6 pm we are going home and once again she is ok along the way....

'Beginning a Life'

I got an email from the embassy this morning, my visa application is granted, but....he sent another email to inform me that they are still working on it, please ignore the previous one.....alas....!
My husband call them, and they say that i was granted the visa but they are still waiting for the authorize signature, so there is no big issue.....
The amazing things in this application are: i got it very soon, not until 2 months, it will be faster if i didnt delay my general checkup and my other documents (because the original one is missing) and they give me a PR straight away, not a temporary one (usually 2 years temporary and if everything is still ok they will give a permanent one)

Well.......must wait a little bit more days to get the formal information....

My Work Life (9)

I have a meeting with my client and my boss together, actually the subject is not really my job, they are talking about our sales operation program, but in whole project it's still under my responsibilities
After bla bla bla almost 3 hours, the meeting is finished, but in my point of view, there is still a long long long way....and just make me headache with their committment...once again.....It's life....isnt it ?

My Work Life (8)

This afternoon my client (manufacturing) call me up to attend their meeting

What the funny thing is they changed the Project Manager, their new PM is the one who doesnt like to talk with me since our last implementation (last November 2007), what a nice world.....hahahaha...

They decided to use only one company/database for their 4 sites because they (accounting & finance department) dont want to do interbranch transactions....it's a strange reason
I bet they sacrifice their operational activities since they agreed that document numbers is not a big issue (i told them, we can't have a sequence document number by site, means they should have a central filing system)

They tried to compare with their old system again, and....new PM just keep silent, doesnt want to give a fair justification, I believe my new ERP is much much better then the old one, and I believe (also) he knew that !

I m thinking to 'resign' as a PM for this project since the situation is not too good for my team, I dont want to make more difficulty for my team because the PM has a negative 'energy' to me (since i realize he is not professional enough)

I came to my client office (distribution) this morning, I asked them to follow the last schedule, since it's already miss with the original one
And they agreed that they must finish many things in this Friday to catch up the schedule for Jakarta, Head Office, and Bandung branch
Well, hope they can keep their words......

New 'Mbak' (Maid) (2)

I have a new maid (again) today, her name is Sila, she is in the mid age already, has 2 kids,live in their 'kampung'/village
She said she will work seriously....

And, same as before, there is no big deal for Jeslyn, she introduces herself and starts the conversation with her

Hard day (3)

This morning my maid doesnt come again, without any news !
So....it's another hard day...but it's still ok, Jeslyn's daddy can take care of Jeslyn, since he wont go anywhere
Jeslyn still ask to go around with the car before i go to work....but she will go upstairs by herself...
Since we dont have any babysitter, Jeslyn become more independent...good lessons...

Happy Mother's Day

I m tiding up the vegetables, and sometimes Jeslyn comes to me and climb on my back.....
This time, she whisper to me 'Happy mother's day Mommy, Big hug for you...!
I m laughing....so so so happy, and say 'Thank you Jeslyn, I m so happy'

Hard and Happy day (2)

Our maid doesnt come today, she told me (by sms), she has a family agenda.....OMG, I just asked her to come earlier because i must go to the traditional market to buy some vegetables for next week....but now.....?? I go to the market alone, I asked my husband to keep an aye for Jeslyn, since she doesnt wake up yet
Go back from the market, Jeslyn woke up already, she looks ok, doesnt complaint to me, just asking, 'you are from market mommy ?' 'yes, i m, are you ok ?' and she said 'Yes'
I start to tidy up all things, and....Jeslyn ask me to play with her, I told her 'Mommy is busy sweety, would you help me ?' 'Ok'
I show her how to take care of the beans sprout, throw away the brown one in the bottom, keep another site and put in the plastic bag....we are doing it together, but time is running out, i must take care of the pineapple also, so i asked her to do it by herself, and she agreed....You help Mommy so much, Jeslyn....You are really a big girl now...
At 10 o'clock we are ready to go to Carrefour, I must buy some meat also....we go together, just two of us.....I always asked her to hold the trolley in the middle so i wont miss her....
She asked me to go to Ambassador too, it's a mall beside Carrefour, so we are going there.....
And....i have an idea, i want to look at the pre-school activity there, we are going to the top level, and the class for her age will start in 45 minutes, so...i put her on trial session...and I told her that she will go inside alone, mommy will stay outside, look from the glass window, she agreed....This is the first time for her to play in the class without me....just with her new friends and aunties (teachers)...and...it's really ok for her....AMAZING....
In the middle of the time, she ask to wee wee.....hahahaha....we are going out in hurry, find a rest room....and she wee wee there....
At the end of the class they make a corn....Jeslyn put the glue on the carton perfectly, no mess at all...and she put some dry corn on that...and she proud of that...she told me she doesnt need any help and doesnt make a mess on the glue, not like her other friends... and she is right.....
Finish the class, we have lunch together....Nasi Campur....Chinese Mix rice, she eats by herself very neat....
After having lunch, we come back to Carrefour, go to the cashier and go back home
She is very good, no vomit at all.....

Stay with aunty

I have an invitation from my office, they have a birthday celebration for their big boss, so....i asked Jeslyn to leave her for a while, but she doesnt allow me, she ask to go to carrefour, it's holiday mommy, i want to go to carrefour, she knows it's holiday because i dont go out as usual....

So....i drop her to aunty dede's house, and promised will come back soon and will go to carrefour after that....

I feel so bad, must leave her, I only have 2 days off every week, and today i spend for something else....

Come back to pick her up, she looks ok....she looks happy....I m happy too.....

My Work Life (6)

I have a meeting with my boss and my client big boss.....After arguing so long, we agreed that client must prepare business process as soon as possible to find out the gap possibility...
It's still a long journey.....

Giant Jumbo Lolypop

Jeslyn woke up in the morning as usual, and....i remind her about 'Giant Jumbo Lolypop' that her daddy promised to bring....
She found out the rainbow giant jumbo lolypop...she come in to daddy's room, wake her daddy up, and show the lolypop....she is so happy, and wants to try it straight away... She gave me some, she said she wants to share with me.....ooo...my sweet little girl knows about sharing better and better......AMAZING.....

Next Info from her daddy, she finished it in 2 hours....!!!

Pisang Pasir (Fried Sand Banana)

I came back home not so late, so i asked Jeslyn to take a walk to buy 'Pisang Pasir'
Pisang Pasir is a fried banana with a special flour, so look like sand and taste crispy enough
She loves to go, so, we go together, i hold her hand so tight....it's a long way enough, maybe around 250 meters one way
She is so happy, I m so happy also.....spending time with her is the happiest time in my life.....

Hard and Happy day

Jeslyn's daddy must go out early morning today, around 5:15 am, so I must bring Jeslyn to come along since there is no adult with her, I wake her up, poor my little girl, she is still sleepy....and we are going together, Jeslyn sit on her daddy's lap...looking outside, there are so many lights on.....she is happy...she doesnt continue her sleeping at all....
On the way back home, Jeslyn sit by herself in the front with the seat belt, and since she is very easy to feel uncomfortable in the car, i prepare a plastic bag in case she will vomit, i told her 'Jeslyn, if you feel uncomfortable and want to vomit, take this plastic bag, ok ?' 'Ok mommy'
On a half way, she took the plastic bag, and....she vomit....!! Poor my little girl...but this is the first time she vomit without make any mess....she bring all of her milk from her tummy out.....without any mess...!!! You are a very good girl young lady.....

We arrived home...and i found out that my maid didnt come today, i call her, and she said she is sick....Oh no.....so...i must take a leave from my office then.....

We spend our time together, just between us, without going anywhere....and jeslyn doesnt want to take a nap....

At 6:30 pm i asked her to pick her daddy up, she get ready...and on a half way she falls to sleep....she woke up a little bit when her daddy wants to come inside and hold her, after that she sleep on daddy's hands.......Have a nice sleep my sweet little girl, this is the first time you sleep on your daddy's hands......And daddy feels so touching....

Put the button on

Jeslyn just finished her shower, I dry her, and give some powder....and she doesnt allow me to put the buttons on...she wants to do it by herself....and....she did it....she put all the buttons on.....AMAZING...

Taking shower by herself

I just realize that my little girl can take shower by herself perfectly this morning !!

She put water on her hair, until wet, and she start to wash her hair by the shampoo (that i prepared for her, she can't take it because the place is too high for her), and ask me to give water for her hands before she take the soap and washing washing all of her body, legs, arms, armpits, feet....everywhere.....and....she shower herself.....i just check for the last...and....perfect....all i need just spend more water for her so the shampoo will be gone from her long hair......AMAZING....

New 'Mbak' (Maid)

This morning I have a new maid, she is still young, she said she likes kid, especially a girl one....
Jeslyn is very happy with her new 'mbak', a new 'friend', she is so busy to introduce manythings to her...this is my room, this is my toys, this is my scooter...this is...this is....and......she agreed not to go around with me because she doesnt finish to tell mbak for everything yet.....
Well....Jeslyn, you are still a little girl but you help mommy a lot, with your own way....You are a good girl....I m so proud of you......AMAZING

My Work Life (5)

I have a big meeting today, the first meeting with the new PM (client site) in the distribution company
And....many times i must argue, many times i must tell the truth, many times i must feel so bad......Well....it's ok....it's life....isnt it ?

Just three of us

From tonite, we dont have someone else who live with us at the nite time, coz we only hire a maid who come in the morning and go back in the afternoon....just three of us....and I feel so good, since the nanny we have just make me stress most of the time....but...i must work extra for manythings....and....Jeslyn start helping me, just from the small thing, like 'would you bring the bottle to the fridge, Jeslyn ?' 'Ok mommy', and she will do it for me...

Password

Sometimes Jeslyn wants to watch her DVD from my laptop, and when we must type the password, i spell it for her and she type it...and....today....she doesnt allow me to spell it, she type it by herself....and....she did it correctly.....it's 8 letters....AMAZING

The last day (for nanny Yati)

Two days ago, our nanny ask to leave us, she wants to go back home since her old disease is coming back, i asked her, what kind of disease, she doesnt know and she cant explain properly.....so....i dont know it's true or she just make up a story....(since she is not a very honest one)
I asked her to leave this afternoon, although i dont have the replacement yet
I explained to Jeslyn that she wont have any nanny anymore, because nanny is sick and must go home.....and...her answer is very amazing, she said 'ok mommy, so we will become family now...just three of us.....Mommy, daddy, and me', I said 'yes'

Jeslyn doesnt meet the nanny for the last time, since she was sleeping when the nanny went back home....Good luck nanny Yati
